Audiobook: Everand

Never sleep with your boss.

It’s advice that Willa Banks could’ve used six weeks ago when, after the most terrifying night of her life, she sought comfort in the arms—and bed—of her grumpy, intense, sexy-as-hell boss, Max Prescott. Now, working with him day in and day out is pure torture for Willa, who’s wanted Max since the day they met—even if he doesn’t want her, something he’s made abundantly clear.

Eight years ago, tragedy upended Max’s life, making him see himself as a toxic, broken monster. A monster who needs to stay far away from the sweet, warm, beautiful Willa, who he’s wanted for months now. But he refuses to hurt her the way he’s hurt people in the past, so it doesn’t matter how much he pines for her. Longs for her. He needs to stay far, far away from Willa.

Max’s rejection hurts, and Willa is determined to get over him. So when she’s matched with someone on a dating app her company is beta testing—with 98% compatibility, no less—she sees it as the perfect opportunity to move on. But fate has other plans, because Willa has no idea the man she’s messaging—and falling for—is none other than Max…

What readers are saying about Love Bug…

This is my favourite book of the series so far. I loved both Max and Willa, and the story that played out between them had a bit of a Cinderella vibe to it as well. Although Max was more of a Beast at the beginning than Prince Charming! but with the aid of an anonymous dating app he soon realizes that him and Willa together are a winning combination.

Max has baggage that most women would shy away from, but Willa sees the man hiding behind all of that, and she is willing to fight for him. It’s a battle filled with emotion and angst that will give your heartstrings a work-out, but totally worth every ounce of torture! Another beautifully crafted addition to the series, highly recommend!

Tara Wyatt is a relatively new author for me but I’m so loving her style. Her characters are engaging and her stories have a wonderful blend of dialogue, self reflection and scenery. Love Bug was pure enjoyment.

One of the things I enjoyed most about this book is it kind of throws you right into the middle of the action. The book starts off on a steamy AF note, and then there’s all of this delightful tension in the ensuing chapters. In all, it’s sweet, steamy, and entertaining. I cannot wait to see what Wyatt comes up with next!
