My name is Tara Wyatt, and I am a writing contest ho. I just can't help myself. I'm not sure if it's my competitive streak, or my honor roll student mentality, but when I see a romance writing award, I can't help but enter. It was this way before I was published, and has continued since.

I just found out this weekend that Necessary Risk WON the Golden Quill Award for Best First Book, and that Primal Instinct is a finalist for the National Excellence in Romantic Fiction Award in the romantic suspense category! Necessary Risk is also currently a finalist for the Booksellers' Best Award in the Best First Book category. *eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*
